This 20ft x 8ft used open top container is available for sale and delivery throughout the USA. Unlike standard containers, open top containers do not have the typical steel corrugated roof. Instead, they feature removable bows and a weatherproof tarpaulin that can be securely fastened with ropes. This design makes the loading and unloading process easier, as it is typically done by crane from above.
The door header above the doors can also be swung aside or removed entirely, making access to the cargo even simpler. These containers are particularly well-suited for transporting large machinery. For secure transport, the container must be shipped with the bows and tarpaulin in place, which also contribute to its structural integrity.
If the machinery exceeds the height limit, a flat rack container, which has no roof, may be necessary. The container is equipped with lashing rings to ensure cargo can be securely fastened during transportation.
